CONCENTRATION IN LINGUISTICS

This page offers information about the HASS concentration offered by the Linguistics section of our department. We also offer a major program and a Minor Program in Linguistics.

 

The requirements for a Concentration in Linguistics are the following:

Three subjects, which must include:

• 24.900 (Introduction to Linguistics) (HASS-D, CI-H)
  
• one subject chosen from 24.901 (Phonology), 24.902 (Syntax), or 24.903 (Semantics)
  
• one other subject in linguistics (might include but not limited to 24.901, 24.902, or 24.903)
