Congratulations Prof. Lippard!
Prof. Lippard received the inaugural Christopher J. Frederickson Prize for Research in the Neurobiology of Zinc from the International Society for Zinc Biology. He received this prize jointly with our collaborator Dr. James O. McNamara from Duke University.

Recipient of the IPMI Metalor Technologies Graduate Student Award 35th Annual Conference
Prof. Lippard was recently interviewed for the 50th Anniversary of the journal Inorganic Chemistry!
Congratulations to former Lippard Lab member Professor Kathy Franz!
Prof. Franz just recently received tenure for her position at Duke University.
She received her Ph.D. from MIT under the direction of Prof. Lippard in 2000.

On March 31, 2010 the lab celebrated the 11 foreign countries represented among the graduate students and post-docs with a pot-luck supper held in the lounge Eastgate, which has spectacular views of Beacon Hill and downtown Boston. Everyone brought a dish (appetizer, main course, dessert, drink) from their country of origin.
Professor Lippard is now a grandfather!
