2.007^2 Contest
At the end of the semester, all of the students participate in a single-elimination tournament where they finally get to put their machines up against another player's. I wasn't able to get away from the bad motor karma I'd been having all semester. I spent a couple of hours before the contest completely reassembling two of my motors which had been giving me trouble. I was able to fix one, but appparently not the other. Unfortunately, the broken motor was attached to my right drive wheel, so I couldn't even drive the robot around the field. That was pretty disappointing, but the contest was pretty exciting, and it was fun to watch all of the creative designs my classmates had come up with.

The contest was fully of exciting twists and turns. One of the more interesting events happened right before the championship match, during the rendition of the official 2.007 song ("It's Time to Design") when Professor Slocum and Maureen Lynch (the course administrator) danced along to the musical performance. It was...interesting.
