Where to get ssh

Mac OS X should have ssh installed and available in the base operating system and accessible via Terminal.

Linux often includes ssh in the base operating system and accessible via a terminal window.

However, if you need ssh for Mac OS X, Linux, or other UNIX or UNIX-like operating system it is available for download here: OpenSSH download page or simply send an email to rt@lns.mit.edu and we can assist you in getting an ssh client installed.

Microsoft Windows can use the SecureCRT ssh client which is available for download here: SecureCRT
