I work mostly on metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind. My dissertation is about the phenomenal character of perceptual experience. In short, I argue that although views that go by the names "Naive Realism" or "Relationalism" are false, they are founded on important insights that can and should be incorporated into a Representationalist theory of phenomenal character. I have recently co-authored (with Alex Byrne) a paper about disjunctivism, and co-edited (also with Alex Byrne) an anthology of the "classic texts" on disjunctivism (click here for the introduction).
