Summaries

This conference consisted of three elements:

• Plenary sessions at which distinguished speakers made
  brief formal presentations in response to questions and
  then engaged in conversation with the audience.

• Demonstrations and screenings of films and multimedia projects.

• A series of 28 panel discussions on a range of topics dealing
  with the theme of "media in transition."
