Kahn: Bush was also working on a few other things that he patented. One of the them was the justifying typewriter. I don't know how many people realized he held the patent on that one. It also became a part of the mechanisms for the early photon photo-typesetter. He was basically hooking up relays and photographing things on film. That was behind the phototypesetter as well.
