An Invitation from the Director
This past
semester,
with the
help of the
MIT
Engineering
Outreach
Programs
Office, I
was able to
incorporate
the
Massachusetts
Academic
Games League
of America (MAGLOA).
The Academic
Games league
has so far
provided
over two
dozens
students
from the
Boston,
Cambridge,
and Lawrence
areas with
an outlet
that has
enriched
their
thinking and
learning. It
has given
them more to
look forward
to in
education
because the
materials
learned in
Academic
Games are
what the
normal
school
curricula do
not offer.
So far,
within a
2-months
time span,
twenty-five
high school
students
have learned
Set Theory
and
Analysis,
Techniques
of
Propaganda
and
Persuasions,
High-level
Math
Thinking,
Counting in
other Number
Systems by
Converting
to Base 8
and 9, and a
Complex and
Advanced
Algebra
curriculum
that is not
even taught
at MIT.
On behalf of
all the
coaches and
members of
the
Massachusetts
Academic
Games League
of America,
I invite you
to connect
with us to
talk about
the
opportunities
that can get
you on board
to join us
in CREATING
A LEGACY.

Executive Director
Massachusetts Academic Games League of America
