Dr. Vargovick is currently responsible at Ford Motor Company, Electrical and Fuel Handling Division (EFHD) in guiding the following three engineering activities:

These activities support a Ford Manufacturing Operations Division with international manufacturing operations and a uniquely-integrated product design and manufacturing engineering division team. This integration of product design and manufacturing personnel allows product and manufacturing process knowledge to be included early in the product design cycle with the potential of greatly reducing product design and manufacturing cycle time.

Dr. Vargovick received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. His thirty years of experience at Ford also include assignments in Car Product Development, Vehicle Safety and Impact Dynamics, and the Environmental and Safety Engineering Staff. He has published several papers in the fields of Vehicle Noise and Impact Dynamics. He is a member of Sigma XI, SAE, and the Institute of Noise Control Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Michigan.
