·    CONTEST WINNER!! Chris Bruce's Mom won a solo with the MIT Marching Band by giving us the best idea for a show theme. By donating lots of cool music to us, she gave us the idea for a "Salute to Chris Bruce's Mom" show, which we performed to high acclaim at the MIT-WNEC football game on September 28th {Insert year previous to 1997 here}.

·    Music We USED to Have (and somewhere still might).

·    Previous Accomplishments:

(That fewer and fewer of us remember accomplishing)

PARADE!! Our appearance in the City of Cambridge's Grand 150th Parade went really well! We got lots of applause for our playing, lots of laughter at our wit, and had a lot of fun! And we only hit one telephone pole.

CONGRATULATIONS!! to Jeff Morrow '96 for winning the prestigious\ 1996 National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics/Sears Directors' Cup Postgraduate Scholarship. The award is essentially the 1996 National Division III Collegiate Scholar/Athlete of the Year Award for the sport of Marching Band. Congratulations, Jeff!
