MarketLab
For Clients
How MarketLab works:
Getting Started:
- Potential clients work with MarketLab’s leadership to craft a project proposal
- A team of students specifically interested in your company/project is assembled
- The team and the company form a final, mutual understanding of project expectations and commit to executing the project
Project Structure:
- Projects are typically two months in duration and take place during the course of either the spring or the fall semester
- Most projects are structured to have weekly update phone calls or meetings with the client side project representative
- Projects conclude with a presentation of findings to senior client representatives
- Projects with high client involvement produce the best results for all concerned
Praise from recent contacts:
I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the students, although this is consistent with what I expected from a world class MBA program such as MIT. However, the passion for undertaking this activity as an [out of the classroom] “side project” and the resourcefulness and creativity the students employed to make the project successful were highly impressive and exceeded my expectations.—Brad Sperbeck, Business Development Executive, IBM Global Services
The MarketLab is a great resource to tap into creative intelligence, a wealth of knowledge, clear communication, and reliable deliverables.— Ada Ryland, IGS Strategy Program Manager, IBM
An extremely well polished and in depth market study that exceeded my expectations. Committed and professional…Comparable quality to studies performed by a consulting firm…— Peter Wakim, Director of New Business Development, Nokia
