In hopes of finding a bone marrow match for people in need throughout the world.

More than 3,000,000 donors are enrolled in the NMDP, most of whom are caucasians. The patients waiting who cannot find any match are from the listed ethnic groups. Thus the Cammy Lee Leukemia Foundation only has funding for minority HLA-type testing. We have tried several avenues to obtain funding for caucasian testing. The tests cost about $80 per person. We have received 10% funding from the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This means for every 10 minorities we bring in, they will fund the testing of 1 caucasian. So if you are caucasian and want to be tested, please help us educate and recruit more minorities (and bring them with you to the drive). You can also make an $80 donation and be tested.
