u CDIO: Set of new learning methods that is being implemented in MIT: the students both learn the fundamentals and apply them to real-world objects. They experience the whole production process by successively participating in the four phases (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate).

 

u Customer Engagement Architecture: A framework designed to educate, involve, or otherwise provide value to those who interact with a company or agency.

 

u NASA Academy: A ten-week summer program for undergraduates and graduates who have a keen interest in the space field.  These students as Research Associates work on an intriguing project at the NASA center, listening to various speakers connected with NASA, space policy, politics, and the aerospace field, and travel to different NASA centers learning how NASA operates.  The Research Associates are sponsored by a space grant for the 10 weeks.

 

u NSIP - NASA Student Involvement Program: A nationwide competition for students in grades 3-12 that centers around developing inquiry tools and communication skills using the anchors of Earth and space science http://www.nsip.net.

 

u Teleconference: A meeting between individuals over the telephone using a TV screen in order for them to see each other when communicating.
