REMAKING THE PDP NETWORK: A THREE NODE SOLUTION TO THE XOR PROBLEM.

Cautionary Note: The following article is unrefereed and is essentially
unpublished. This is the first and only draft of a final project for a research
seminar in parallel distributed problem solving offered at UC Boulder in
the spring of 1985. Although I generally do not make such materials available
(for fear of being misquoted / misunderstood / plagiarized / lambasted /
etc.), I've had so many requests for copies from places as far away as Germany,
Korea, and Australia that I hoped electronic distribution might contribute
in some modest way to others' research efforts. It also seemed more convenient
for all. Comments are certainly welcome, although it has been more than
a decade since the work was performed. If you need to cite this article,
please refer to it as an unpublished manuscript available from the author or
cite the subsequent abstract in Neural Networks.
