What Is Thokbook?

• Thokbook is :

  • A personal library system, written in perl.

  • Intended for medium to large individual collections.

• With Thokbook you can:

  • Scan a barcode or type in an ISBN or EAN,

  • Automatically get bibliographic information on that book from the Internet,

  • Create web pages listing your books,

  • Check books in/out.

• There are two parts to Thokbook:

  • A perl module (Thokbook.pm).

  • A set of perl scripts that form a command-line interface with the module.
