Time Cat is about Jason's cat, Gareth, who can talk, but thats not all. Gareth can also time travel to nine places, and as soon as Jason knows this they are off on an adventure they will never forget. First they go to ancient Egypt, and meet the pharoah, Neter-Khet. He doesn't know much about cats, though he worships them. Jason and Gareth teaches him things about cats and life in general. After that they are off to Rome and Britain where Gareth becomes the mascot of the Old Cats Company. They get separated from the Old Cats and find them selves in a village where people act like kids, only bigger. Escaping very closely they headed to Ireland, where they met princess Diahan. Diahan had never seen a real cat, though had heard myths. She brought them to her father telling him they were magicians. Then they meet Sucat, or Patrick, who is a slave, but believes he is there for a reason. Helping Sucat escape they are off to Japan, where Jason becomes Master of Imperial Cats. With Gareth he helps show a young Emperor how to live a happy and forfulling life and helps some kittens grow up. With that done they're in Italy and meet with a fabulous artist called Leonardo, or Odranoel, as he likes it. As good an artist as he may be his father still doesn't see it. That is where Jason and Gareth help a little, and soon his father is seeing the picture better than ever. After that they are in Peru, where they meet Don Diego, someone whos trying to be what hes not. Hes trying to be a soldier, even though he knows he's no good, and when Jason and Gareth are held for ransom, he shows what he is good at. Making peace, in a place where there seems to be no mercy, and with that Jason and Gareth are off again this time to the Isle of Man. This is where they met Dulcinea, a shipwrecked cat with kittens, who has no tail. They find a village near by and helps a girl called Awin where true beauty is, that is with the help of Dulcinea and her kittens. Germany is where they went to next, at the time when witch hunting was big. And when a man is accusing inoccent people of being witches, he is taught a lesson. The lesson of treating others as you would like to be treated. With the lesson taught they are in America, the last of the amazing travels. This is where they meet Professor Parker, a man who is going around selling his mouse-traps, these mouse-traps happen to be cats, the best mouse trap in the world. Jason and Gareth escape from a battle and Gareth told Jason that they're going home, he told Jason that when they are back they cannot talk to each other any more, but there are others ways of talking without words. Without another word they are back, and it seems to Jason that it was just a dream, until he finds a small emblem of the sign of Gareth's chest, and some how Jason knew that it really did happen.
