About us: We're both avid adventurers, mountaineers, hikers, backpackers, mountain bikers, cyclists, runners, climbers, photographers, and published authors. Together we've hiked the entire Appalachian Trail; bicycled 3,000 miles from Alaska to Montana and 3,300miles through northern Europe; hiked in 29 countries; climbed New Hampshire's forty-eight 4000-footers, and 98 of New England's Hundred Highest peaks; summitted all 50 state high points, 22 country high points, and North America's highest point - Mt McKinley. We have recently published a 231-page paperback book titled "Mountain Adventures: Whites, West, and the Appalachian Trail," which documents our adventures. The book contains our favorite trip reports from our biggest adventures, including the 2175 mile Appalachian Trail, our 3000 mile bicycle ride from Northern Alaska to Montana, mountaineering expeditions to the Rockies and Cascades, and some of our most epic trips to New Hampshire's White Mountains with the MIT Outing Club.
