Lodz, 29 November 1937 Dear and devoted cousin, Sol Zissman, I would like to write you a long letter. However, as I heard from my dear father's letter being read, he has written to you of practically everything. I would like to express sincere thanks to you in this letter for your interest in me. I am referring to your wanting to save me from the danger that exists here in Poland. I hope that the plan we have undertaken will, with the help of G-d, be carried out as quickly as possible, and then I will, for the first time, be able to express my personal thanks for your generosity to me, as well as to my father and sister. I can't write any more. When there is an opporunity, I will write you a longer letter. Regards to you and your wife and son, whom I don't know personally. With respect, Yosef Lewkowicz All material Copyright 1995 by Marshall L. Zissman and Sol J. Zissman.
