I wondered. Was that the same as the Vier Krielle? I was a bit confused by Tali's mumbling, but I was sure it must be the same treasure. Two treasures like that were just too good to be true. I offered to help take Tali below decks. The raven followed us like a lost puppy. Gees, that bird gave me the creeps. What kinda person hung around with a black bird all the time? It reminded me of a crow...person like that just inviting death to come knockin' at your door. In spite of the blasted bird, I stayed with Tali until she woke up and then I called for our esteemed captain. "Can I stay while you ask her about the treasure?" I asked, a bit more anxiously than I had intended, but I was excited. I was a pirate's daughter, after all. Myce agreed. "Sure, maybe we can see how your stories line up. I'd hate to go on a wild goose chase, but that treasure sure would be worth it." 'Yeah,' I thought to myself. 'Give some of us the freedom we've needed for a long time.' I sat next to Myce Elf as she approached Tali. The girl still looked a bit squeamish, so I tried to comfort her. Fortunately, Myce had left Tolstoy outside this time. "Hey, Tali. I was a stowaway, too, and Myce here took me on real kind like. She's a good one, nothing to fear. That ole' lion just likes ta make people sweat, but he's a big baby." I really didn't feel that way. Tolstoy was worse than that bird when it came to giving me the heeby geebies, but this girl needed help. She stared at me in response, and I was at a loss of what more to say.
