The assignment was to write something in prose, 200 words or less, that would move the reader in some way. Powerful words; memorable. Some people seem to think the submissions had to be in story form. Any prose form is acceptable. What you should be looking for is how much punch the pieces pack for you. Which ones will you remember? And why? You don't have to tell your reasons, but this is what you should be thinking about, not whether a piece has all the elements of a full-blown story. Phanny
