Batman's mouth was inches from Catwoman's. He could feel her breath on his skin and smell her feline feminine scent. *Stop!* The voice shouted in their heads, they jumped back. "What?" Catwoman asked Batman. Batman could only shrug. *Thank magic I was able to stop you in time,* the unicorn walked up to them. "What's going on?" Batman demanded. *You're under a spell.* "You can't be serious," Batman told her. *Quite serious. I recognize a spell when I see it. "I was just helping Alice up," he got to his feet and helped the Lady to her feet. "Sure." "Now how will we find them," Catwoman hissed as she looked around her. "Well we were headed down Thrasher Blvd before we were, uh, sidetracked..." Batman started. "Thrasher Blvd?" Robin thought a minute. "Holy double trouble, they're going to Two-Face's hideout." "Corrrect," Catwoman agreed. "But without the Catvertible and the Batmobile, and I don't think the unicorn can give us all a ride, how will we get there in time?" They all turned as a cab turned down the street and pulled up beside them. "Hello," the voice from inside the cab said. "I believe you need a ride." "But how did you know?" Catwoman walked up to the cab. "The Shadow always knows." A laugh erupted from the cab. ...to be continued... ________________________________ | Catwoman's Window Sill | |________________________________| |WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW| | \ * \ \ || \ \ * \ | | \ \* \|| \ * \ \ | |_______________||_______________| |_______________ _______________| | \ @@@@@@@ * || * A~A \ | | \ @@@@@ \ ||\ {'o'} \ | | * \|/ \ || \ { Y } * | |______(_)______||_____{#_#}_____| |________________________________| | http://catwoman.simplenet.com/ | |________________________________|
