Bat Man checked his arsenal of weapons and life-saving-death-defying gadgets in his Bat Belt as Robin did ten push-ups in his effort to ready himself. The caped crusader then looked at Cat Woman. Robin, The Lady on the unicorn (T.L.U.), and the unicorn herself, Ryannon, also stared at the devious feline, who had obviously led them into a trap. "You deceitful, ferocious, diabolical young lady," Bat Man said in raised voice, "you led us here knowing the werewolf and the Magic Lady were hiding in the shadows. Didn't you? Didn't you, you misguided, poor soul?" "Purrrrhaps I did, and purrrhaps I didn't," Catwoman smiled. "Can I help it if you two goof-offs can't defeat a couple of timid monsters? Can I?" "Uh, Bat Man, she's got us there." Robin bowed his head. "Enough, please, my dear, fellow wanderers in the sea of urban insanity," TLU said, in a soothing, melodic voice that seemed to calm those around. "Cat Woman, you have one last chance to produce the two monsters, in a reliable, safe enviornment, as it were. Otherwise you will never see the castle on Avalon." "Well, Kitty Litter! Oh, ok. I'll purrrform the task - snitching on my fellow partners in chaos. Ok, if I must." Cat Woman bowed her head now. "There, there, young lady," Bat Man gently said. "It will be alright. Everything will work out just fine. There, there." -----to be continued---- ---------------- Come visit me on the web at: http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Hills/4252
