The Lady nodded, "And, more to the point, what happened to our friends?" "Friends?" asked Robin. "Of course," said the Lady. She looked sternly at Batman and Robin. "We told you we entered the worm holes to follow them to a convention of magical creatures. Surely, you didn't think a convention is a place of battle. What kind of world do you live in that sees a meeting of minds and magics as hostile? I would never have attacked our friends, those were imposters. The werewolf is a male, as you should have seen, and the magic user is much too young to be our beloved sage even if you didn't know what they look like." Rhyannon nodded her head. "Under Wolfess' flea-bitten hide is a dear, sweet, woolly lamb. She used to be a real beauty before her heart was shattered by her Lost Love going off with the boys down a worm hole to a bachelor party and has never been seen again. None of them ever got to the party either. She looked for him through the worm lines, and then decided to look through a bottle instead." The Lady sighed as she finished wiping the blood from her saber with a much stained rag, and sheathed the weapon in its jewel encrusted leather holder. "We must find our friends and rescue them from whatever dire circumstances they are in. We know they came out here, but apparently we aren't the only ones who followed them." *Or,* thought Rhyannon, *since this is not where they were heading, someone was waiting to pull them off their route.* The Lady nodded. "Possible. But why?"
