Date: Sat, 23 Aug 1997 22:48:42 -0400 From: "Forrest L.Horn" Subject: FILLER: Introduction My name is Forrest Lee Horn, Sr., and I'm new to this list. I have lurked long enough... several hours at least. After having had 27 other addresses during a very peripatetic life, I settled in North Carolina about 18 years ago. Due to a recent life-threatening parachuting accident I have had to change careers once again (for about the fourth time), to something I have always wanted to do/be: freelance writer. Whether I can survive by doing so is still subject to judicial review. My other careers, in case anyone is still reading at this point, were Infantry Officer (two years Vietnam), Human Resources Professional (GE, Exxon, etc.), and professional arbitrator/mediator (which I still do when opportunity presents). I'm 6'1", 230 lbs, grey hair (what's left of it - kindness would proffer "salt & pepper" as an option), brown eyes, and a semi-detachable wheelchair on temporary loan from Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. The lovely, little blue jewel we call home has made a total of 54 circumnavigations of our star since my birth, though what significance that has is beyond me. I have a new website which is becoming an archive of my writings. Even though it's still under construction, you're welcome to visit. The URL is listed below at Geocities/Athens/Parthenon. Take a look and let me know your honest opinion. Not your _brutally_ honest opinion, just your _honest_ opinion. I'm currently working on a story for your delictation and delight and hope to submit it to your tender mercies shortly. I'm also working on an essay (perhaps a book) concerning the covergence of findings in quantum physics and the revealed truth of some religions. This may take a bit longer...like maybe the rest of my lifetime! Enough already! Thanks for the chance to rant.
