BEAUTIFUL!!! I have found my niche ;).  Have been looking for a writers
newsgroup for a looooong time, glad to have found one.  Let's see, what
should I say about myself.  Well, I'm a writer. (duh).  Or at least,
some people consider me so.  Others, after they have read my stories,
they give me looks that make me wonder whether they might be close to
calling up the fourth floor....?  My writing is usually morbid, dark,
WEIRD.  I have never figured out what genre I might fit into.  I guess
the closest would be scifi/horror for most of it.  People usually end up
dying.  My poems, well, I don't write much poetry, but what I do
write...enough to frighten my mother *eg* She tried to have a 'talk'
with me after finding one of my poems, tentatively titled 'I Hate You'.
I'm 20, I loooove writing as well as reading.  I enjoy Agatha Christie,
Micheal Chrichton, Christopher Pike, R.L. Stine, Adrian Plass,
Anne McCaffrey, John Wyndham, and of course I have a TON of books which
are singles (what I call the ones when I haven't yet bought any more of
the authors work, or don't plan on it).  Also love movies.  I'm a
chatterbox and I have a lot to say.  Sometimes...well, ok, MOST of the
time I am apt to say it harshly.  I am a cynic yet an optimist.  I enjoy
life but am constantly putting people or things down.  If it seems like
I've insulted you, PLEASE do not take it personally, it's just me and my
problem.  OTOH, if I *tell* you I'm insulting you ;P.  So far I have
only accomplished short stories.  I have 2 novels in mind but one is
frozen, the other is too full of technical details I'm too scared too
tackle at this time, however, I feel it has a certain Chrichton-ish
shadow to it (not bragging there, just trying to explain what I mean by
'technical').  Well anyway my stupid cat won't shut up, it's 6 am and
everyone else is asleep, so I suppose I'll sign off now :-)
