I spent my childhood in a small country town in New Zealand (Otane pop 251) where my father was the local store keeper and drove a green Model A Ford. Spent an idle youth in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand studying science at University and various other extra-curricular activities. Eventually married and settled down to a career programming computers. (In those days computers were steam cooled and wouldn't fit into your front lounge.) In middle age I broke up with my wife and got re-educated by the hippie culture of the 70's. About this time I started writing plays and after about ten years got many of them performed in local amateur theatre. I now live at Te Horo Beach (pop varies, no shops, 3 dealers) where I practice biodynamic gardening. Deeply interested in liberal religious studies particularly Vedantic philosophy. A pretty boring life really, but a writer friend tells me that enough has happened to me to fill several novels. Maybe I missed something out. A couple of months ago I finished my first novel _The Road Goes On_ which is about the life of a swagman (tramp) in the NZ outback. I was fortunate enough to find an agent for this but, as yet, he has not found a publisher.
