I've been writing for a few years now and have published a few of my poems. Just small press. Nothing too serious. I've taken one poetry class my freshman year of college. I'd like to improve my writing. I'd like to keep the personal angle of some of my work, but I also want to make my images sharper and cleaner. I have returned to this list not to debate issues or to mince words. I really want to be a better writer and I'd like to know if anyone knows of some good exercises to provoke thought? Or maybe you could describe your thought process. Sometimes my writing needs a better focus and I am hoping there are ways to do this. Please forgive all my sins. Let us break bread and make peace. Thanks.
