Subject:      introduction.

Since laws must be obeyed, I hasten to introduce myself. My name is Elsa
Altshool. I have done many kinds of jobs in my life: ghost writer for a
phrenologist, Independant Insurance Agent,  specialty furniture
manufacturer, craftsperson, folk guitar teacher, historical researcher,
free-lance media and advertising research, travel agent-trainee, and
general factotum. All of my jobs seem to have led me toward writing.

For the past 10 years I've devoted full-time to writing. I've published
three cookbooks, the last an historical cookbook and write historical and
fictionalized history. My hard drive is full of works in progress; some
I'll complete and some I'll dump.

I've a wonderful daughter who never once announced that she was bored or
expected me to find entertainment for her. She is now a photographer living
in Canada and continues not to be bored.

I thought until a few minutes ago that I would enjoy being on the writers
list. Instead, I've just been informed that despite my sent and accepted
subscription to this list. I'm being dumped. I don't understand yet this
must be hello and goodbye.
