Good grief, almost a member for five years, and I'm not in the bio
list!  Eeep!

Name: Robyn <Meta> Herrington
Age: Old enough to be legal everywhere. :)
On WRITERS: Since about 1991/2-ish.  Don't really know...  I'm one of
the oldies though, to be sure.
Useless information: Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  Raised
near Adelaide, South Australia.  Moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in
1978.  Been here ever since.
Married: Bruce, The Wonder Spouse in 1981.  No kids.  Still having fun. 
Published: Yes! *Finally!*  Some science fiction, some fantasy, some
horror.  All short stories, a couple of poems.  
Other awards of note: Winner of the WRITERS Emjay award for Best
Critiquer for 3 or 4 years in a row. :)  Very happy about that one.
"And when Robyn's not writing, she can be found...." Blowing glass.
Taking photographs.  Traveling.  Generally trying to stay out of
trouble, but not always good at it. ;)  Most harmless.  May contain
lanolin. ;)

I work at the University of Calgary, currently in the capacity of an
editor, graphic artist and production designer.  

Advice to new writers: You have nothing to lose.  Jump in, give it a
try, work at it, take criticism in the spirit it's intended, and always
have fun!
