Subject:      [WRITERS] FILLER: BIO: warning, warning - new person alert..!!!

Hi everyone..

I just subscribed yesterday - I will probably lurk for a while until I
am familiar with the group dynamics. But here's a bit about me for
your perusal..

I am female, 31 and live in Australia. However, I was born and grew up
in Southeast London and still have the scars, the great British humor,
the attitude and the big mouth. I have however, lost my horrendous
cockney accent and replaced it with something easier on the ears. It's
a weird hybrid and I no longer seem to fit in anywhere - London
Cabbies ask me "is this your first time 'ere luv.." whenever I return,
and Australians often ask me to repeat myself, laugh at the way I
pronounce things and still call me a Pom..!!

Anyway, I like writing and art. I don't consider myself a 'writer'
inasmuch as I don't consider myself a singer even tho' I warble in the
shower. But I like to write, I enjoy it

But I am *trying* to write a lot more these days. I have lots of ideas
for childrens books - which I would also like to illustrate. And I
have tentative plans for, and the first chapter of a crime novel.

What I lack is self discipline and an attention span. But I am working
on these things..

I hope to get lots of inspiration and ideas from being here, and I
hope to have lots of fun..

and now - back into lurk mode
