Subject:      FILL:  BIO: New to the List

Hello,

Like most good newbies, I've been lurking for a week to learn what goes
on here.

And what I've learned:

The quality of the submissions has captured my attention to the point of
surprise.  I've never read much poetry, but I surprise myself by reading
and enjoying so many of your posts.

The quality of the criticism is also to be admired (and I assume I can
admire criticism when it's someone else's work being dissected).

My name is John and I have been a journalist (television), travel agent,
property manager and gardener.  I live in Texas, just north of Dallas
and I am working on my first novel, a suspense novel.
