I am an Englishman living and working in Germany, in a small town about 50km away from Bremen. For the last three years (until August this year) I was Special Interest Group Secretary of the British Mensa Art and Literature Group, and editor of the British Mensa magazine *Icarus*. I read and write a great deal, writing predominantly literary fiction and critical reviews. I read almost anything that comes into my hands in English or German, and have written many reviews on books over the last ten years for a wide variety of magazines and journals. On the business side of things, I run six small press imprints in Germany, publishing short stories and poems in English, German and French as well as dual texts both original and older works that would otherwise be lost. My presses publish literature (short stories and essays), poetry, erotica, gay/lesbain, gothic/macabre, religion in limited editions, handsewn etc. etc. (Information available privately). I correspond with several hundred people around the world by e-mail and snail-mail on a regular basis, and am subscribed to about thirty different discussion groups on the Internet. Correspondance is one of my chief joys, as it brings me into touch on a more personal basis with others, and on a general basis - through the discussion groups - with a wide range of interests and beliefs. I am always open to private discussion or comment on literary matters at litterateur@t-online.de.
