I thought I should post another bio, since it has been a long time since I did that. I am an artist in Kansas City, MO. I started painting around 1976, and have done many local art shows, including Westport, a Kansas City showcase. After a several-year loss of inspiration, I have returned to painting, this time on the computer instead of pastels. My specialty has always been the nude, which has gotten me into some trouble with the relatives. (Understandable, I suppose, considering I am a preacher's daughter.....) With the advent of the computer in my life, I have branched out to writing poetry, inspired by an artist-poet I met on the 'net. I have been published in Poetry In Motion, the quarterly publication of the National Poet's Association, a small but beautiful magazine, and in Intimate Thoughts, a monthly publication out of Chicago. At this writing, I am also scheduled to appear in the on-line anthology at Centerfold, but that has been scheduled for some time, and I am beginning to doubt the reality of it. Now, here I am back at Writers, though I will be too busy around Christmas to stay here long. I have missed you. Merideth "It's their laws, man.
