Subject:      A proper INTRO

My name is Christopher A Skafidas and I am a writer. ;-) hee hee!

I am a senior at Notre Dame College in Manchester NH. Iwill be
graduating with a triple major in Fine Arts, Art History and Graphic
Design. I am thirty years old, going on infinity! Yes ladies, sad as it
may seem, I am happily married and have been so for the past twelve
years! I have been working, off and on, on a High Fantasy novel for the
past five years....too long, if you ask my wife. She would like to see
me finish the thing so that I can become rich and famous! (LOL!)

I took a deep interest in writing three years ago when, on a whim, I
enrolled in a Creative Writing course. That was the experience that
solidified for me the need to express my pent up emotions through words.
I discovered that even if I were the only other living thing that ever
saw my words, the simple act of placing them in a visable medium helped
me understand what it is that has been driving me through this vast
expanse of sensations.

I was born and raised in Concord, New Hampshire USA. I have a hard time
thinking about moving from this place that has been my home for so long.
I mention this becuase I am considering several avenues to go exploring
down in my search for a graduate degree. And to my dismay, all roads
lead to the outside world! (Chris curls his massive frame into an
approximation of the "fetal position") Sevaral of my professors tell me
that my talents would be wasted on anything less then a trip to La-La
land, the great Hollywood, where I would persue a degree in filmmaking
and script writing. Another professor wants to see me enshrined in an
institution of higher writing. Another wants to see my multimedia
talents used for the betterment of man. AARRRGGGH!!

Anyway, that is about all I have to say for now........
