Subject: BIO:  Pixie, Small Gothic:  "dissolve these eyes so i may cry"

1970 (november):  future small, gothic, red-haired pixie-lawstudent born to a
completely normal set of parents.  no apparent trauma to either parents or
pixie.

1976 (may):  pixie unwillingly moved to Florida from Boston.  eventual
settlement occurs in Jacksonville causing much trauma to aforementioned
faery-creature due to hostile natives.

1979:  pixie is introduced to punk & new wave music by well-meaning next-door
neighbor.  lifelong-passion begins, eventually resulting in a deeply-rooted
love for gothic/punk/industrial music (among other types).

1984:  pixie (apparently un-traumatized by the introduction to Catholic
School and Nuns 2 years earlier) is exposed to the broadway musical "Cats".
 more lifelong passion (for theatre) results.

1989:  pixie graduates high school, having lived through numerous
redneck-attacks, various subcultural foibles (its the punk-scene, you can
guess what they were, but try to use your imagination anyway!), and two years
in Navy JROTC.
pixie starts at FSU, meets best-friend-in-the-whole-wide-world Izzy, and
finally decides on a double-major in English (Creative Writing)/ Theatre
(Acting) after changing major and hair-color weekly (its been every shade but
green)

1991: pixie realizes that he must relocate to Jacksonville.  trauma of a
Major Order.

1993:  pixie graduates with a degree in History (*long* story) from UNF in
Jacksonville.  he immediately departs for Tallahassee to find all but Izzy &
3 others gone.  Pixie remains jobless in a tough job-market armed with only a
liberal-arts degree.

1994 (april):  pixie relocates to Jacksonville, swearing that he will never
return after he leaves again.  pixie manages to land a scholarship to Boston
University School of Law.  pixie begins writing a novel.

1995 (august):  pixie starts lawschool despite being the only one of his kind
in the lawschool (and possibly Boston).  much trauma results from series of
setbacks (personal and scholastic), however, pixie is too busy to notice.
 projected schedule date for nervous breakdown:  July, 1998

1996 (june):  pixie starts a Master's degree in International Relations,
attempts to learn Chinese, and re-joins the WRITERS list (previous attempt in
February aborted due to lawschool and technical difficulties).  pixie sets
out to re-gain his creative writing skills as well as attempt to understand
some of how & why life works, all the while listening to Skinny Puppy, Joy
Division, and Leaetherstrip...

(there was supposed to be some nifty commentary here, mainly making fun of
all the trauma, but i'm really tired.  i'll submit a couple'a CRITS to warm
up-- a few of the submissions over the last 5 days have left me impressed &
set a high standard for me to reach!  SUBs soon, but i can't promise that
they won't be in Mandarin!  ;)
