That goal, however, has been set aside. My new goal is to try and post to the list using the right headings for the subject line. I have printed the FAQ, as instructed, and will bravely make a go of it. Anyway, about myself, I live in Massachusetts, on Cape Cod, and teach nursing for a living. I have been a nurse for about 30 years, but have always had a secret desire to write something more exciting then care plans and research findings. I expected to do that once I moved here, after 26 years in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Guess what? It hasn't happened...even putting together three words causes me to cringe with embarrassment. I would suggest that I seek professional help, if mental health and counseling weren't my areas of expertise. Lest you think my goals may be too lofty, let me make my final admission: all I want to write is *trash*!! That's it, no great novel, no soul-moving poetry, just your garden variety popular mystery that will help pass an enjoyable afternoon at the beach. Why can't I do that?? I have a lifetime of fabulous experiences to draw on, and a not too shabby imagination. I guess I'm hoping that people with more experience can offer insights and suggestions. Thanks for your time and attention. Rita
