Hi all
Last night when I was considering joining the listserv I had this
really good idea for a delurk message.  Typically like most people I
didn`t bother to commit it to writing and now that I am faced with
having to send a message I can`t think what to say.

I suppose I should give a little of my background.  The .za on my
email addy means that I come from South Africa.  Not that I really
wish to be here, I have fallen out of love with my homeland, rather
be in Australia or Scotland  than here.  Otherwise, I am more of a
poet than a writer and I am looking to make the great switch from
verse to prose :)

The thing is that I have some ideas for a book but I am struggling to
get there, it is completely different (imho) when cmpared with the
fine art of writing a poem.  For instance, you lose poetic licence
apart from some of the freedom and gain other things too.

I am a student.  Currently in my 3rd year of accounts and commerce
looking to become a little grey accountant :)) (There is a stereotype
for you :) ).

As I said before, I should have written down what I was considering
to say last night, as in the dawn `tis fled. Thus, I will go back
into the shadows and watch the discussions till I feel I can
contribute or have something meaningful to say :))
