Subject:      [WRITERS] BIO (and question)

New to the list,  Stephen Ausherman (that's me) studied in
Manila, London and Salamanca before graduating from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in
Political Science with Honors in Creative Writing ('89), and
an MA in Journalism and Mass Communications ('93). He has
worked as a public health assistant in Iraq, Nigeria, Kenya and
Tanzania, a teacher in Korea and China, and as a journalist in India.
Ausherman now lives in New Mexico and works as a freelance writer.

Having said that, my most recent article, "Facing the Enemy: A Journey
Through Iraq" appears in the current issue of Outpost. Problem is, they
haven't yet paid me for it, nor have they returned my portfolio of photos
and slides. They won't respond to e-mail, letters or return phone calls.
To complicate the problem more, they're in Canada while I'm in the U.S.
Has anyone out there dealt with this magazine before? Any suggestions for
me?
