Hello,
My name is Tammy. I have been on for a few weeks. I just sent my first poem
in the other day.  I work at the Pantal Hotel in Punxsutawney, PA.  The home
of the weather forcasting groundhog.
  I just found out today I am about to become a grandma!!!!
  I use to write all the time, but I was always a stay at home mom and
somehow, I got away from it.
  I had a poem published when I was in grade school, and that it when I
caught the writers bug.  I even got to read it on the local radio station.
  It was just a short poem called hate.
                         Hate
                 Hate, hate , hate,
          thats all there is today
        don't the people remember
       there's a word called love
             in the world today.
  I know it isn't much, but I wrote it in the late 60's with the vietnam war
going on and my parents going through a divorce.
I really love this list and the stories I have been reading.
  I am reworking the recent poem I wrote, and will be reworking it and
sending it in again. I am also working on a  short story and a novel, and I
hope to get help from all of you.
