Well, I've been here for 2 weeks now, so I figure it's about time I
introduce myself.  :)

Hi, I'm Vicki Popdan... I'm 22, and I'm a student at University of
Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).  I'm an English major with a minor in
creative writing.  I started writing poetry when I was 8 and never
stopped... I've been studying it (technique, form, style, etc.) for years
now.  I just recently got into writing fiction and essays on many
subjects.  I also enjoy literary analysis and interpretation... and I'm
one of those really crazy people who actually ENJOY writing research
papers.
Speaking of writing papers, I must admit that I subscribed to this list
because I had to find one to observe for awhile so I could write a paper
on it for my Internet for Humanities Majors class.  I've really enjoyed my
time here, and even though I've finished my paper, I'm going to stick
around.  :)
Well, that's me and my boring life.  :)  Glad to be here and meet you all!
