I just joined the list & thought I'd send an introduction.=20

Here's a brief bio:=20

I write about the natural world, my adventure travels, and the scientific
and ecological literature =97 making scientific research intriguing to the
layperson.  I hold a M.S. in Wildlife Ecology, and I have published in
WildBird, E the Environmental magazine, ScienceNow, AP's inScight, Scuba
Diving, the Albion Monitor, among others. My love of the outdoors stems
from childhood time spent at my father's beautiful Oregon homestead and
rustic log cabin. =20

We just recently relocated from LA to Houston, TX. We now live on 3 wooded
acres, set right on Luce Bayou - an inlet of Lake Houston. It is like going
from a deep, dark hole with no light to magical utopia.=20
