Thor the Thunder God was walking hungrily by a river when he spied a fat fish. "I shall eat that fish," Thor announced to the world. Thor reached into the river and grabbed for the fish. He missed. Grabbed again. Missed. Grabbed. Missed. Finally Thor gave up and sat down under a tree to sulk. A bear waddled up to the river. He reached down and flicked the fish into the air, catching it between his teeth. Thor jumped up and called down lightning, smiting the bear with a fiery bolt. The moral? Don't show off before a sulking god! NOTES: Criticisms on the Contest Entry are welcome, to the list. Entries for the contest will close on 30 November 1997.
