aha!  well, first I check to see if they have spontaneously generated (never
happened yet, but...you never know).

failing that, I ponder some random nonsense, cut the dictionary and look
around, consider what might be raised in a contest such as this, and...

then I generally toss some filberts into the mix (nuts by any name) and let
the swirls rise.

whichever one ends up on top, well, write it up and see how it flies!

of course, if anyone would like to send me some suggestions, that would be
wonderful!  there's only -- *counts madly on calendar, stops, counts again*

incidentally, thank you for attributing these questions to that source.
some people have suggested somewhat different backing for these efforts...

[inside a name?  how many questions are located inside a name?  how many can
be?  and when you drag them out, do you have to dust them or just wipe them
off before using them?]
