A tale of yeast, of rising crusts, of morning toast, of milquetoasts?
and the slicing, the cutting, the carving, the final stroke that
separates the sandwich from the loaf?

[yes, you may use thesauri, dictionaries, or other reference works.
This is an open book test.  oh, and if you want to use a blue book,
that is permitted, as are computers, friends, or other aids.  Even
muses are allowed!]

Do you want mayonnaise or mustard on that?  oh, hold the ham?

a Dagwood?  or just the dry toast of infirmity, powdering and
choking?

Write it up, and put it in a lunch bag for us?
