We have a slew of characters, from the President of the United States down to strangers in grocery stores suddenly sharing their opinions about things willy-nilly... So pick a few and sketch them for us! Show us the personas, the beliefs, the crumbling trust (or the painful assumption of responsibility?)...make the headline people live for us. Make your next-door neighbor live for us, with their peculiar belief that it can't be true, because the President wouldn't act like that... or whatever they are saying. Various people are guessing the future--pick one and show us what happens! If Wild Willy resigns...what happens after that? If he doesn't, what happens? Don't forget, showing us the future reflected in our own work, in actions by our neighbors, and so on is much more convincing. There's a wonderland of news heads out there doing stuff--plop us into one of those heads, show us the daily grind, the massive information, and the pain of having that simplified and condensed into 35 second soundbytes... Heck, back up and consider the small news stories that are being dropped while this chews up our national attention...are we ignoring our daily lynchings for this grande danse macabre? dream up a moriarty who is planning this attack on that bedrock of American morality, the presidential bedroom...and show us that fiendish plot! Write? tink
