[warning! may not go well with your barbecue sauces...intended as humor, but may be a bit off taste for some readers...] just for the taste of it... [first, the gourmet question of which wine to have...] I would think a red wine with the fat cats, perhaps a dark beer or other strong accompaniment for alley cats (trash can fed does have a certain piquant smokiness), and save the white wine for the smaller rodents--rats, mice, and other sewer dwellers... [then the curmudgeon's observation] Real cats don't eat quiche--they ARE quiche! [a bit of historic reference] say, does this have anything to do with the famous tale of the buttered cat antigravity response? For those who may not know it, jc probably can explain just how the buttering of a cat (on top, I believe) and dropping of same results in a spinning cat floating indefinitely. [and for the dog lovers] if I remember correctly, the chihuahua is reputed to have been bred and raised as a food animal by the Aztecs? Can't you just imagine Colonel Tzetak'tak, resplendent in his feather robes, smiling as people picked up a bucket of southern fried dog? or maybe you prefer the honey roast for those days at the sacrifices? finger-licking good! tink
