So use her, but don't change or kill her. ********* Deputy Sheriff Colleen Dwight drove her Bronco along the dusty flat asphalt of Highway 41. All had been quiet lately, after all the murders had just stopped, and nothing much seemed to happen out here anyway. She cruised along the highway listening to the classic rock station KHWY 93.1. "Hotel California" droned in the background as she let her thoughts slip to the denouement of the old murder cases. The last anyone heard of the murders, a strange Red Toyota was driving off over the New Mexico State Line. It held three women, two men, a cat, and a man dressed like Santa. Colleen shook her head. Sometimes the stories got crazy. the next thing you know, someone would be saying the same car crash landed in Roswell. She turned off on the exit to "Princeton, Arizona, Pop. 281." Colleen drove into town, kicking up dust behind her Bronco. She would stop for a burger in the diner and then head back to HQ in Earner. She pulled up in front of the diner that hadn't changed much since the fifties, and stopped the car. She was about to go in when she heard a sound like an automatic weapon. She drew her gun and opened the car door. she heard the sound again. She dropped to the ground and listened once more, moving toward the area the sound had come from. ********** :-) Robyn Alyson ------------- You've been contacted BY THE LIST KID EXTRAORDIAIRE pookers@geocities.com LilDevil@psicorps.com ****************** "Winter is cold, and bitter, it chills us to the bone, I haven't seen the sun for weeks, too long, too far from home, I feel just like I'm sinking, and I claw for solid ground, pulled down by the undertow, never thought I could fell so alone, Oh, Darkness, I feel like letting go," -- Sarah McLachlan "Full Of Grace" ****************** http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/9011/ *****NEW!!!
