Colleen leaned over and dry-heaved. She felt better once she sat up, and then she felt confused. She was in the back of a car. Not her car, and this wasn't prom night. "Feeling better?" Colleen felt sick again. She knew that voice. Alex O'Bannion, crazy as, well, as a psychopath. He was the local butcher. One morning he woke up and threw his girlfriend into the sausage maker. Almost got away with it too, but one of the locals noticed the missing girl's engagement ring in his morning links. Alex had gone on the lamb, and now he was back. "Much better, thanks. What are you doing now, Alex?" "Well, I realized I couldn't kill you just yet, you know, it's just not allowed. I have to follow the rules. I have to give you a chance to figure out what my problems are and try to help me. That's how it goes." "Back to the game again, huh?" Colleen looked around for a way out. Alex went into a sneezing fit, swerving on the road. "Shoot! Almost killed us both. Sorry about that! Maybe I should stop for some allergy medicine. Say, Deputy, you don't own a cat do you? 'Bout the only thing that makes me sneeze is cats..." "No, I don't own a cat, Alex." She did however own a small gun she kept holstered behind her back. If only she could get to it without arousing suspicion. Alex broke into another round of sneezing. He swerved all over the road this time. Colleen felt tossed back and forth. And she could swear she heard a cat yowl. ********** Robyn Alyson ------------- You've been contacted BY THE LIST KID EXTRAORDIAIRE pookers@geocities.com LilDevil@psicorps.com ****************** "Winter is cold, and bitter, it chills us to the bone, I haven't seen the sun for weeks, too long, too far from home, I feel just like I'm sinking, and I claw for solid ground, pulled down by the undertow, never thought I could fell so alone, Oh, Darkness, I feel like letting go," -- Sarah McLachlan "Full Of Grace" ****************** http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/9011/ *****NEW!!!
