As you may have heard, HWY 41 is a two lane highway in Arizona(and if it wasn't, it is now.) The second Thread of HWY 41 begins in The Dunes, or Exit 302 according to the map. Here we go: ____________________________________ The glass white of the sand reminded Bryan of White Sands. He quietly crunched his way across the brittle ground, wondering what fire could have possibly baked this land into glass. The Dunes. He remembered the old Indian saying something about The Dunes. That was his destination. Bryan was a parapsychologist, and his investigation into the paranormal stories surrounding the small town of Dunesville had led him to this white waste land. He had heard the stories of the men who dissapeared into the desert and were found, drained of blood, skin bleached by the harsh sun, embedded in the glassified sand. Bryan was eager to discover the source of the phenomenom. His steps became slightly quicker as he put more space between himself and the light's of the city. In the distance, the glass hills sparkled in the moon light, only slighlty obscured by stubborn brush that clung to the sand beneath the melted earth. He was compleatly oblivious to the drama unfolding a mere ten miles east, along HWY 41. He was to intent on the discoveries that lay ahead. ----To Be Continued....
