Still as beautiful in death as in life--and still as sexy. The red strawberry looks like blood, so delicious, making my mouth water again. I rub my hands down her naked body, lingering on the supple curves that gave me so much pleasure and others that would give me even more. Cold passion hangs in the air heavy with the scent of sex and forever life. Slowly, the corpse begins to stir. With a tender smile, she takes the strawberry in her hand and running her tongue around the end, bites into it. In the moonlight my beloved's eternal mouth flashes my magic in her two long gleaming teeth baptized in red. "Arise, my love," I whisper, and join me. We walked slowly away into the black night. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Robyn Herrington New Currents in Teaching and Learning / InfoServe Phone: 220-2561 Email: rmherrin@ucalgary.ca Story ideas are like rabbits that have ventured unwittingly into view.
